  Custom Built Fence and Deck did an outstanding job on our new decks and walkway. John and Karen were very professional and completed the project on time, as promised. The craftsmanship was excellent from their friendly, competent and hard working carpenters. We had another contractor building a stone patio at the same time. John worked seamlessly with them to ensure a perfect result.
  We received other estimates but decided on Custom Built because of their personal touch with competitive pricing. We were extremely satisfied and would highly recommend them.

  John and Karen run a great company! We find quality communication is very important when working with a contractor, and this is a strength for John and Karen! They rebuilt our rather large wrap around deck and added a free standing 18' by 18' pergola. Both turned out fantastic. We simply couldn't be happier customers. And here's something very important to note: the work was completed in the spring of 2016. During the late summer of 2017, one of the 2 by 6s used as a railing cap cracked in half and needed replacing. I emailed John and Karen, and they had the board replaced very quickly - nearly 18 months later!!
